WELCOME TO MAD SCIENCE CAMPS!
Join us for a single day or whole week, come see what fun you can have with our interactive Science Camps!

We have put the measures in place to provide a safe and reduced risk environment for all attendees.

Wraparound from 8.30am- 5.00pm £50 a day or £220 per week
Standard 9.30am - 3.30PM £38 a day or £160 per week
Final Collection is 5.00pm at the latest.

Enhanced CRB/DBS Checked and fully insured for your peace of mind.
Camp is for 5-11 year olds – We have a Labtech programme available for 11-14 year olds this summer. Please get in touch with us for more details.
** DON'T FORGET YOUR PACKED LUNCH! **
We do try to take the kids outside each day if possible so please dress them in suitable clothing for the expected weather on the day.

Camp Activities
What you can expect
a different topic and theme to explore daily with each bringing an unique science experience for our campers! Activities listed Mon - Friday below.
CARBON WEEK
Carbon will capture the imagination with a myriad of investigative topics to explore. We'll be discovering about the human body and taking a journey through what makes us human, and the systems that keep us going. Turning to Chemistry for an adventure in acids and alkalis as we visit the pH Factory. To infinity and beyond is where we'll be blasting off to as we soar across the solar system and look at some pretty nifty space tech! but wait! It might be time for damage control! Call in the Mad Scientists we have a disaster zone incoming!
Monday - Infinity & Beyond
We’re screaming across the solar system and entering the glistening galaxies as we go to infinity and beyond! As our favourite space captain once said. We’ll be getting up to some right cosmic capers as we take in the planets and interstellar phenomenon - crash landing your own comet to create the biggest crater.
Tuesday - Human Body
You walk around in it everyday, but how much do you really know about the human body? Find out what happens to the food we eat as we get messy and we explore the digestive system. Find out why our skeletons are so useful as we recreate the movement of a hand. Unzip the blueprints of living organisms as we examine DNA.
Wednesday - Disaster Zone
Warning! Warning! Incoming walloping weather! Batten down the hatches we’ve got a disaster to divert. Can you save the town from the volcano lava flow? Get in a twist with tornados and wiggle your way through the richter scale on our balance plates. It all gets a bit tectonic today!
Thursday - pH Factory
Children are introduced to the concept of pH, acids, and alkalis through a series of engaging, inquiry-based experiments and exciting demonstrations. These concepts are applied using household items to improve children's understanding of the nature and purpose of the chemicals they often encounter. They learn how household chemicals are safely handled.
Friday - Slime Challenge Day
We've got problem solving, creative inventing, scrap engineering and to top off a fun filled Friday... our super slime chefs challenge! Not to be missed.
